Berenson & Company today announced that Jon Steele and Brendan Ryan have joined the firm as Senior Managing Partners.
Steele and Ryan will hold significant ownership stakes in Berenson and join the firm’s leadership team, including Jeffrey Berenson, Founder and Senior Managing Partner, and Islam Zughayer, Senior Managing Partner, to expand the firm’s advisory capabilities and accelerate the buildout of a high-quality team of bankers.
The addition of Steele and Ryan strengthens Berenson’s reach with strategic buyers and financial sponsors as well as the firm’s depth of sector expertise across numerous verticals within the technology and services industry.

Prior to joining Berenson, Steele and Ryan served as Co-Heads of Technology and Services Investment Banking at Raymond James. Steele and Ryan have a combined 50 years of experience and have completed nearly 500 transactions in their collective careers.
