Red River Announces Leadership Appointments for Invictus, a Red River Company

Red River, a technology transformation company specializing in AI-driven cybersecurity and IT modernization solutions for government and enterprise customers, today announced two leadership appointments for Invictus, a Red River Company, as the business becomes Red River’s government services business unit.

Sean Papso has been promoted to President and Chief Growth Officer of Invictus, a Red River Company. In this expanded role, Papso will lead Invictus with responsibility for continued profitable growth, customer alignment, program and mission performance and long-term business success across Red River’s government services portfolio.

Red River also announced that Grant Schneider has joined Invictus as Chief Operating and Programs Officer. Schneider will lead day-to-day operations, program delivery, profitability and operating discipline for Invictus while also helping scale the combined capabilities of Invictus and Red River.

“Invictus is a vital part of Red River’s future and the foundation of our government services business unit,” said Anthony Christie, Chief Executive Officer of Red River. “Sean understands the Invictus mission, customers, programs and people at a deep level and he has been central to the company’s growth and operational execution. Grant brings exceptional national security, cybersecurity and federal technology leadership experience. Together, they give us the leadership structure to strengthen execution, accelerate growth and deliver mission outcomes for our government customers.”

Papso has played a key role in Invictus’ growth across defense and intelligence customers, helping strengthen program delivery, customer engagement and business development. His promotion reflects Red River’s continued commitment to customer continuity, operational performance and growth within highly sensitive government environments.

Schneider brings deep experience at the intersection of national security, cybersecurity, enterprise technology and program execution. His background includes service as Federal Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Information Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency, senior cybersecurity leadership at the White House and chief executive of a national security services company.

Red River acquired Invictus in December 2025 to strengthen its cyber, intelligence and enterprise modernization capabilities for critical Department of War, Intelligence Community and federal civilian missions. Invictus brings elite cleared talent, advanced cyber capabilities, intelligence expertise and enterprise modernization experience, including support for highly sensitive and classified environments.

As Red River’s government systems business unit, Invictus will continue to deliver mission-focused technology services for national security systems, including cyber operations, enterprise modernization, intelligence support, secure infrastructure, applied research and development and emerging technology integration.

“Our customers rely on us to deliver secure, resilient and mission-ready capabilities in some of the government’s most critical environments,” said Papso. “I am honored to lead Invictus into this next phase as part of Red River. With Grant joining the leadership team, we are well positioned to deepen customer alignment, strengthen execution and scale our capabilities while preserving the mission focus that defines Invictus.”

“Invictus and Red River are bringing together exceptional technical talent, strong customer relationships and a shared commitment to national security,” said Schneider. “I am excited to join the team and help drive operational excellence, program performance and scalable growth across the business.”
